EPSG The Guild

The Women's Committee of the El Paso Symphony Orchestra Association was organized in 1957 by Mrs. Joe M. Rector. Its purpose was to form a permanent volunteer organization to support Symphony projects. Today, the El Paso Symphony Guild is one of the El Paso Symphony Orchestra's largest supporters and continues to promote the endeavors of the Association through music education, fundraising and direct orchestra support.

The Debutante Ball: The Debutante Ball is the El Paso Symphony Guild's primary fundraiser. It fosters the opportunity to support learn and appreciate, one of the most important cultural traditions in El Paso, the Symphony Orchestra. Participants in the program not only experience the satisfaction of community service, but they also have the opportunity to make new friends and share in one of our community's most delightful social events.

Angel Fund: Concert tickets provided to El Paso area students.

Brass in Class and Strings in Schools: An outreach element serving all area school districts with the direct involvement of some orchestra members.

Orchestra Dinners: A monthly dinner provided for our orchestra to show our appreciation for the musicians and the conductor.

Young People's Concerts: Concerts performed by the symphony annually for all area 5th grade students.
